By linking the form to specific items, you can view relevant information in the context of those items, making it easier to manage and track inductions or other related tasks.

Step 1: Accessing the Plant Register

  • Log in to your BuildPass account.

  • Locate and open the register that you want to link to a form.

Step 2: Identifying the Item and Required Forms

  • Find the entry for the mobile crane in the plant register.

  • Determine the forms you want to link to this item, such as plant induction forms.

Step 3: Enabling Linked Forms (if necessary)

  • If the option for Linked Forms is not visible in the item settings, it may be disabled in your register settings.

  • To enable Linked Forms, go to the register and click on "Edit Settings."

Step 4: Enabling Form Assignment for Each Item

  • In the register settings, ensure that the option allowing forms to be set for each item is enabled.

  • If it was previously disabled, toggle the option to enable it.

Step 5: Linking Forms to the Item

  • Return to the item you want to link forms to (the mobile crane in this example).

  • Click on "Edit Item" to access the item settings.

Step 6: Searching for Linked Forms

  • Within the item settings, locate the option that says "Linked Forms."

  • Click on the search icon or field within the "Linked Forms" option.

Step 7: Searching for the Plant Induction Form

  • In the search box, type "plant induction form" or the name of the form you want to link.

  • The system will display search results based on your query.

Step 8: Selecting the Form

  • From the search results, locate the desired form (e.g., plant induction form).

  • Click on the form to select it.

Step 9: Updating the Item

  • After selecting the form, update the item settings to save the changes.

  • Click on the appropriate button (e.g., "Update Item") to confirm the updates.

Step 10: Viewing Linked Forms

  • Once the item is updated, you will see the plant induction form form appearing underneath the item.

  • As people complete inductions for the mobile crane on different projects, their completed forms will appear on this page.

Congratulations! You have successfully learned how to link forms to register items in BuildPass. By following these steps, you can ensure that relevant forms are easily accessible within the context of specific items in your register.
