At this time, BuildPass does not support manually signing on visitors through the Admin app.
However, visitors can still complete sign-on themselves using a QR code link, even if they:
Don’t have a smartphone
Are experiencing device issues
Need to use someone else’s device
Workaround: Sign on a Visitor Using the QR Code Link
The visitor can complete sign-on from any device (phone, tablet, or computer) as long as they can access their mobile number.
Step 1: Open the QR Code Link
Open the site’s QR code link in a web browser
Using an incognito/private browsing window is recommended
Step 2: Enter the Visitor’s Mobile Number
Input the visitor’s mobile phone number
Step 3: Verify the Visitor
A verification code will be sent via SMS
Enter the code to verify their identity
Step 4: Complete Visitor Sign-On
Continue through the visitor sign-on process as normal
This workaround is useful when a visitor doesn’t have access to their own device or is unable to scan the QR code directly.
