Timesheet Cost Codes

Assign cost codes to timesheets for clearer project tracking and labour reporting.

The cost codes feature lets you label timesheet entries with predefined codes for better tracking and analysis. These codes can represent roles, tasks, or cost categories.

Admin App:

To set them up:

  • Go to Settings.

  • Under the Timesheets heading, select Cost Codes.

  • In the Cost Codes section, enter a name or label for each code you want to use and select Save.

Once cost codes are set up, they can be applied when creating a new timesheet:

  • Open the Timesheets module.

  • Select New Timesheet.

  • You'll now see a dropdown for Cost Code—choose from the list you've set up in settings.

Worker App

Workers using the Worker App can also see and select from these cost codes when submitting their own timesheets.
