Download the BuildPass App to automatically get signed on/off as you walk on or off site.
You'll need to manually sign on once to set up auto sign ons
iOS (iPhone/iPad)
Go to Profile > Settings > Notifications
Turn on Location alerts and Auto sign ons
When prompted for Location Access, select "Always Allow"
When set up correctly, it should look like this:
4. Sign on manually at least once to the project
5. Verify it works by leaving the site geofencing radius without opening the BuildPass app - you should be notified when you are signed on or off.
Android
Android article coming soon! Please reach out to [email protected] if you are having trouble enabling auto sign-on on Android.
Troubleshooting
Make sure you download the latest version of the app - it's required for auto sign ons to work reliably
Download BuildPass for iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android
Check your permissions under Profile > Settings > Notifications. It should look like this:
iOS (iPhone/iPad) users are reminded about background location use from time to time.
For auto sign ons to work, you must select Always Allow. If your permissions are set up incorrectly, you may not be able to sign on.
