How to Categorize Your Forms

This article covers how to create form categories and show these categories like "folders" in the BuildPass navigation menu.

Organizing your forms into categories makes it easier to manage and access them efficiently. Follow these steps to set up your form categories in BuildPass:

Step 1: Access Your Settings

  1. Click on Settings, located at the bottom left-hand side of your screen.

  2. Navigate to the Forms section within the settings menu.

Step 2: Add Form Categories

  1. Under the "Form Categories" heading, you will see an option to add a new category.

  2. Click "Add Category" and enter a name for the category (e.g., Safety Forms, Inspection Reports, Compliance Documents).

  3. Customize the category with colors and icons for easy identification.

Step 3: Select Categories to Show in the Main Navigation

  1. Under "Categories to Show in Navigation Menu," use the search bar to find the categories you want to display.

  2. Select the categories you want to appear in the main navigation for quick access.

By setting up form categories, you can better organize and streamline your workflow in BuildPass.
