Step 1: Accessing the Data
Open BuildPass and navigate to the section containing the data you want to export.
For example, you may want to export form entries or sign-in data to track worker attendance over a month.
Step 2: Locating the Export Option
Scroll to the bottom of the data table.
Look for the "Export to CSV" button—this allows you to download the data in a CSV file, which can be opened in Excel.
Step 3: Exporting Form Entries
If you’re viewing a Form table in BuildPass:
Scroll to the bottom of the checklist table.
Click on "Export to CSV" to start the export.
Step 4: Exporting Sign-On Data
To export sign-on data:
Navigate to the register of sign-ons on site.
Scroll to the bottom of the sign-on list.
Click "Export to CSV" to download the data.
Step 5: Confirming the Export
Once you click "Export to CSV", a file will be generated.
Your browser may either automatically download the file or prompt you to choose a save location.
Select a suitable location on your computer to save the CSV file.
Step 6: Opening the CSV File in Excel
Locate the downloaded CSV file on your computer.
Open Microsoft Excel or another spreadsheet application.
Use the "Open" feature to browse for and select the exported CSV file.
Click "Open" to load the data into your spreadsheet.
Exporting data from BuildPass is simple using the "Export to CSV" feature. By following these steps, you can easily generate reports, track attendance, and manage other project data in Excel.
