What this feature does
Baselines allow you to capture a snapshot of your schedule at a specific point in time. This snapshot can then be compared against the current schedule to understand how the plan has changed.
This helps you:
Track schedule delays and changes
Compare the original plan against the current schedule
Support extension of time claims
Assess responsibility for schedule changes
When a baseline is visible, baseline bars appear on the Gantt chart alongside your current tasks so you can compare planned and current timelines.
How to save a baseline
You can create a baseline when publishing a schedule or from the schedule Actions menu.
Option 1: When publishing a schedule
Log in to BuildPass Admin.
Open the project containing your schedule.
Click Publish.
Enable Make this a baseline.
