How do I create a submission link for external RFI submissions?

Allow external consultants or stakeholders to submit RFIs directly into your project using a secure submissions link.

If you need an external administrator, consultant, or other third party to submit an RFI, you can provide them with access via a submissions link in the RFIs module. This allows them to lodge RFIs without needing access to BuildPass.

To create a submissions link:

  • Navigate to the RFIs module

  • Select More in the top right corner

  • Select Submissions link

  • Select New submissions link

When setting up the link, you can configure:

  • A label to help identify the link

  • The submitter

  • The level of access the submitter has, including whether they can view drawings

  • The recipient selection and additional settings as required

Once the link has been created, you can activate or deactivate it at any time. You can also copy the link and distribute it to any third party who needs to submit an RFI.

This provides a controlled way to collect RFIs from external stakeholders while maintaining oversight within your project.
