If you have a question about a specific area of a drawing, you can raise a Request for Information directly from within the Drawings module. This ensures your RFI is linked to the exact location on the plan, making it easier for all parties to understand the query.
To raise an RFI from a drawing:
Open the Drawings module
Select the relevant drawing
Add a pin to the drawing
Click on the exact location where you would like to raise the RFI
Select Raise RFI
The standard RFI form will appear, allowing you to complete and submit your request. Once submitted, the RFI will be linked to the selected drawing and pin location, providing a clear visual context for your question.
This workflow helps reduce confusion, improve communication, and ensure all RFIs are accurately tied to the relevant plans.
